- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp taco seasoning
- Tortilla chips
- 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
- 1 avocado, diced (optional)
- 1/2 cup sour cream (optional)
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the beef in a skillet over medium heat, browning it and mixing in the taco seasoning.
- Arrange a layer of tortilla chips on a large sheet pan.
- Add the seasoned ground beef on top of the chips, then sprinkle shredded cheese generously over.
- Bake for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Add diced tomatoes, jalapeños, avocado, sour cream, and green onions on top as desired.
- Serve hot right from the oven and enjoy!
