- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
- 1 cup water
- 1 lemon (cut into wedges)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with 1 cup water and bring it to a simmer. Place a steamer basket inside.
- Add the crab legs to the basket, cover the pot, and steam for 5 to 7 minutes until heated through.
- Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant, stirring constantly.
- Stir in salt and black pepper, then remove the pan from heat.
- Transfer the steamed crab legs to a serving platter.
- Drizzle the garlic-butter sauce evenly over the crab legs.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley on top and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
Don’t oversteam the crab legs; they only need to be heated through. Fresh garlic provides the best flavor.
