Ingredients

  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 lemon (cut into wedges)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Fill a large pot with 1 cup water and bring it to a simmer. Place a steamer basket inside.
  2. Add the crab legs to the basket, cover the pot, and steam for 5 to 7 minutes until heated through.
  3. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the melted butter and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant, stirring constantly.
  5. Stir in salt and black pepper, then remove the pan from heat.
  6. Transfer the steamed crab legs to a serving platter.
  7. Drizzle the garlic-butter sauce evenly over the crab legs.
  8. Sprinkle chopped parsley on top and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
