Description

A delightful Middle Eastern dish made from seasoned ground meat, kafta is juicy, flavorful, and super easy to make. Perfect for family dinners!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Skewers (if grilling)

Instructions

  1. Mix together ground chicken, onion, garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well blended.
  2. Form the mixture into oval-shaped patties or mold it around skewers.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the kafta for about 6-8 minutes on each side or until fully cooked and golden brown.
  5. Serve with fresh parsley on top, alongside pita bread or a salad.

Notes

For the best result, allow the mixture to sit for 15 minutes for flavors to meld. Don’t overmix to avoid tough meat.
