Ingredients
Scale
- 2 chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized chunks
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 3 cups thick-cut fries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken pieces and cook for 6–8 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
- Stir in garlic, onions, red peppers, and green peppers. Cook for another 5 minutes until softened but still vibrant.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, tomato paste, paprika, black pepper, and salt. Pour the sauce over the chicken mixture and stir well.
- Simmer for 3–4 minutes until glossy and slightly thickened.
- Cook fries in the oven or air fryer for 20–25 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Serve the pepper chicken hot with fluffy white rice and crispy fries. Garnish with parsley before serving.
Notes
Cut chicken uniformly for even cooking. Use fresh vegetables for the best flavor. Let the sauce simmer longer for a thicker texture.
